Our Christmas “Turkey Trot” competition was held on Friday the 17th of December 2025 with 32 members and guests participating in this Texas Scramble event. Typical Spanish delicatessen was awarded as prizes to the top three teams after a Christmas lunch.
The winners were:
1st place: Michael Atwood, Paul Weightman, Brian Smith & Eduardo Tubio playing with 8 and finishing with a score of 58 net.
2nd place: Julie Owen, Sheelagh Maloney, Aldo Rodi & Eddie Ball with 59.8 net.
3rd place: Roger Kemp, Simon Glithro, Stephen Gilks & Brian St. John with 61 nets.
The prize for Nearest to pin in 2 shots on hole 8 was won by Joe Mckelvey.
