On May 18th, Higuerón Marbella Golf Resort hosted the official press conference announcing the 1st Municipal Golf Tournament of the San Bernabé Fair, which will take place on June 14th and marks the return of a long-standing golfing tradition closely linked to the city of Marbella.
For the club, it is a true honour to be part of this initiative and to collaborate with Marbella City Council in organising an event that aims to once again become a landmark tournament for local golf enthusiasts. The competition is exclusively open to residents registered in Marbella and will feature a maximum of 120 players, with 80 participants already registered.
The tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be played under the Individual Stableford format, bringing together local golfers for a day focused on sport, community spirit and shared passion for golf.
During the official presentation, Marbella’s Councillor for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, highlighted that the tournament “revives a tradition closely connected to the city, with the goal of turning it once again into a benchmark event for local golf enthusiasts.”
